To the extent we collect, check, hold, update, maintain, use or disclose any personal information or other protected information about you as defined by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and governed by the National Privacy Principles (your personal information), we take our corresponding obligations very seriously; as such, we do not participate in the commercial trading of personal information and we only collect, check, hold, update, maintain, use or disclose it to the extent necessary to deliver or arrange for delivery of the services that we promote into the logistics industry market.

 

Any disclosure (including but not limited to transmission or provision) of personal information by us to an unrelated third party will only be as required by law, or to the extent necessary to operate our website or provide our services (which you consent to under the provisions of this Privacy Policy), or otherwise by your prior written consent.

 

In relation to related and affiliated third parties, you also consent to us, our associated and related entities and parties (including but not limited to related and/or referred professional advisors) (the association) disclosing and using your personal information for the provision of necessary professional services and support services within the association and to you.

Website collection

When you use our website (the Site), we collect your personal information in two ways: information that is voluntarily disclosed by you in your use of the Site; and website use information that captures your interaction with the Site every time you use the Site.

We endeavour to ensure that all personal information held by us or on our behalf is stored on secure servers. Disclosure to third party advertising companies

You acknowledge that we reserve the right to disclose your Site use information to third party advertising companies for the purpose of serving advertisements on the Site. Third party advertising companies may use your Site use information to selectively serve advertisements on the Site for goods and services which may be of interest to you. We do not disclose personal or contact details to such third party companies.

 

E-Commerce transactions

Much of our revenue is collected from e-commerce revenue generated from listings on the Site.

 

We recognise the importance of maintaining security and confidentiality in relation to the processing and retention of the information collected and collated from e-commerce transactions.

 

The e-commerce facilities available to facilitate payment of our charges include direct debit, major credit card transactions and direct deposit.

 

We use recognised payment providers that are promoted as being secure to collect funds for charges and fees from our clients. However, we are not the credit gateway or actual e-commerce provider and we rely on the integrity, systems and terms and conditions of accredited e-commerce service suppliers; as such, we cannot and do not give any warranty make any representation in relation to the security of funds and associated information processed through any e-commerce service suppliers. We will offer no compensation, credits or refunds in respect of charges or fees for e-commerce services suppliers and we reserve the right to recover any and all non-standard or unexpected fees or charges we incur in relation to associated with the utilisation of such services.

 

Collection and storage of e-commerce information

When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers and bank account details) on our website, we endeavour to use e-commerce providers that encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

 

When credit card details are collected, we simply submit these to the relevant e-commerce service provider in order for them to be processed in strict accordance with the charge(s) that you have selected from within our website service.

 

We do not store credit card details except for transactional purposes.

 

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us both during transmission and once we receive it.

 

We employ the services of e-commerce providers that provide us with assurance that:

• Your complete credit card details cannot be viewed by us or any external third party

• All transactions are performed under at least 128 bit SSL certificate

• All transaction data is encrypted for storage

 

Change in the business

We reserve the right to transfer your personal information in the event of a change in the ownership or operation of our business, for example, the sale of part of all of our business, or a merger with another company. In such an event, we will attempt to notify you before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.


Links to third party websites

The Site may contain links to external third party websites. Any third party website is not under our control and is not subject to this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third party websites and any tracking devices such as cookies used by linked sites.
